Hello, This is another "what are my chances?" post. I
hope you have some advice for me. I am currently in a
teacher's program.

I hope to graduate with endorsements in elementary
education, special education, social studies, French, and
ESL. I would be a local hire (Germany), and I am a 5 point
veteran.

I hope to do my student teaching at a DoDDS school. I will
start my practicum hours (pre-clinical experience) next
semester. Is there anything else that I can do?

Please let me know what you think. I keep reading about
the 60K applicants -- I just don't know how much my being a
local hire vet will help.
