Not to rain on the parade, but we're trying for Dodds Pacific (or
anywhere really) and not having much luck with it either. My husband is
claiming veterean's preference, and he also did his student teaching with
Dodds. He did that in winter/spring 07 and we came back to the states
and he taught here while getting his certifications all lined up and
taken care of. We applied last year, pretty much knowing that nothing
would happen because he didn't have his certification on file. Now we
have that on file, but still aren't hearing anything. :( He will be
certified in technology education after this year, so we're hoping that
it will help get a job for 09-10 if we don't hear anything this year.
Right now he is qualified for math 7-12 and music k-12.
