sunny Is HR checking one's referrences before extending a tentative offer? While cross checking the referrences will EAS status change to inactive? HR always calls to offer the position or they send email? For dannid, what's next after you have been notified? And congratulations!

HelpOthers It depends on how long the position has been vacant, I believe. I recently filled a position that has been vacant since August. My interview ended at 7:46 AM and the offer was e-mailed at 10:30 AM the same morning. bondo I interviewed in early March and did not receive the offer until June! The offer came 1 day after submitting my signed contract with a local district. A district that was unwilling to release me from this contract. So, the dream job with DoDEA is on hold for yet another year.
