I'm curious about the transfer round. I understand there are groups A-F with F being the "lowest on the totem pole". I also understand that not everyone will get a transfer. Is it feasible for someone in the F group to get a transfer because they are the only one with a random combo such as speech/art/math but someone in the A or B group to not get a transfer because there were only a few positions in their certification and it went to the few people higher on the list? And how about backfills? Say someone in the A group gets a transfer and there are people in the A group not placed - will they give those people the backfills, before they place someone on a lower list in a (different position)? I guess what I'm asking is - if a hard to fill combo position is available, and the only applicants who apply for it are in a lower group like D-F, will they fill it with them, or will they instead allocate the transfer money to place as many A's and excessed teachers as possible (knowing that t...See More
