Gifted children are much like snowflakes they all have their unique pattern. The most important first step is to completely know the child's learning history. The history records should supply some answers if studied. The next step is to identify their strong talents and weak areas. The strong areas need to be pushed especially if they are passions. The weak areas need to be addressed but not pushed for perfection. Next you need to know their best style of learning visual, verbal, written, oral and have them use those areas. Finally, do not forget the emotional part is he challenged, energetic, focused, and exhibit Confidence. Finally, gifted children can spiral up or down at amazing speeds and knowing when to have a handle on that is vital.
