The very worst classroom teacher could BS their way with some great writing and certify. The bery best classroom teacher could be a poor writer and not certify. I certified, however..I don't know why? If I redid the entire process, I don't know that I would certify again. I just don't know. I am thrilled that earned my NB. But, I believe some NBCT think it is more than it is..Reality check.. I know someone who is an excellent writer. She made up much of her portfolio entries. Just typed them out and taught only the video segments. She certified and scored much higher than I did.
