It is the highest honor bestowed in our profession. It doesn't
necessarily mean that you'll automatically be hired in all
states but it can help with that process. For some states a
yearly stipend is given and some districts do support with
additional salary.
And I still use my experience as I continue to teach, I'm a
reflective teacher who keeps on learning!
