I think you hit the nail on the head. Focus on how the process will
make you grow as a teacher. Don't get anxious. The NB journey is
time consuming but totally do-able. There will be days when you will
feel overwhelmed but you are starting early and should be fine.
Organization is key. Get your hands on as much info. as you can. I
spent hours on the internet researching my subject area. There is a
wealth of information available. I worked at least an hour every day
but found I was more productive when I had larger blocks of time to
dedicate to writing. If you haven't already downloaded the questions
into a word document I would highly recommend doing that. Leave them
in the document (highlighted or in a different color font) until
you've had people proof your entry. Make sure you answer each part
of every question. Sometimes the questions seem redundant but if you
read them carefully you will find they are not. I highly recommend
joinging a yahoo group in your content area. Best of luck!
