First- remember that Pearson is not actually scoring our
ACs- they are the testing center- so our entries are read
by scorers in our subject area.
That said, I was upset AND insulted at the score one of my
entries rec'd. I knew the topic inside and out and have
taught it for years. I understand the philosophy that NBPTS
doesn't want to give us specific examples because each of
us needs to find our own way to demonstrate our evidence of
teaching for student success, but I agree that seeing an
example of an entry in the 4. range and another in the 1.
range is what we do for our own students to understand the
expectations we have.
Until the feedback is more clear I won't recommend this
process.
