This is absolutely criminal! Our school worked our butts
off to get off improvement status and we did it. It took
lots of dedication and extra hours. But we did it.
However, our district went into improvement status this
current year and now we are back into all the same
punishments as before. Almost worse. Now they send
district people out to check each classroom. The big thing
is "fidelity to the core" and teachers are getting written
up if they use anything not hougton mifflin. Even if it's
just a graphic organizer.

Why are we being "punished for a crime" we haven't committed?
Yes, I'm in CA too.
