Yes, I do let students retake tests sometimes. I had a
student today who retook a test on a book she had read two
years ago and failed. She reread the book, I deleted the
test, and she did well on it. I made a second student retake
the rest. He had rushed through a book and took the test
without permission . . . and failed it miserably. He had to
read the book again, and I made him take the test again.
Another took a test on the wrong version of the book, so he
had a to do a retake.
No parent has ever complained about the no points below 60%.
