You know what...I think its a good lesson. Yes, you can 'screw up' and
get a "second chance" but seriously, you don't really ever take back
what already transpired...you do, however, have to live with it. You
don't get to erase the mistake- you move on. So, make wise choices the
first time is a very good lesson to learn.
I do hope that you, Ima Teacher, do teach your kids that in life, you
don't get "second chance" free and clear. In my case, the drunk driver
who killed my friend would feel really happy that he got a "do over"
and nobody got mad/hurt/angry at losing their
friend/mom/wife/sister/aunt. *insert sarcasm here! Oh, but wait, he
    gets a "second chance" right?
I hope to God you are teaching kids to make good choices the first
time....I'm not saying they have to be perfect- but they have to
CHOOSE WISELY BECAUSE IN LIFE THEIR ARE NO MAKE-UP EXAMS.
