    How long does he take to read a book? He could be forgetting
    parts of it. Maybe he should take chapter-by-chapter notes
    as he is reading, and perhaps you could allow him to have his
    notes with him while he takes the test. last year, I had a
    kid with an astonishingly low "working memory" score after he
    was referred ....it was an "Aha" moment!
