Point goals depend upon your child's reading level and the amount
of time spent reading. This can be school and home reading. The
more reading a child does, the better reader they become. I expect
some time each night to be spent reading as part of their homework.
The poster just above mine said it very well. I in fact have
several students who can easily earn 20 points in one month, as
well as others who struggle to get 5 points in a month. Please
conference with the teacher so it can be explained to you.
