I'm sorry this happened Joe. You have a right to feel
discouraged, frustrated and angry. Your principal
sounds extremely disorganized or passive-aggressive.

I guess I would explain to the students and parents that
no decision was made because the issue was not on the
agenda, and that you did all that you could to promote the
trip.
