We are working on a research project for the state of
Illinois. Our particular focus is research (experimental or
classroom action research) that looks at what helps an
adult learner transition from literacy education to the
Pre-GED level and from the Pre-GED level to the GED level.
We are collecting relevant research studies as well as
ideas that teachers and staff have tried in their
classrooms that have proved to be successful. We would be
glad to share information that we gather with anyone who is
