    Veteran teacher, former National Middle School Teacher of
    the Year Alan Haskvitz says, "It is mindless to have a
    formula for the amount of homework by grade level." In his
    thoughtful examination of the homework issue, Haskvitz notes
    the arguments pro and con, and offers links to additional
    essays and articles on this controversial topic.
