I am using a PC in the community room to write this as my
iMac at home keeps shutting down.
At present, that is the only computer I can use when home.
I uploaded a bunch of photos I took while camping with
almost no trouble. Actually, I pulled them off into
folders because iPhoto seems to be full or near capacity
and I did not want the computer to shut down like my newer
one did which I still haven't solved the problem for.
I have a blog and used to have minimal problems uploading
photos to it BUT now I get a couple photos uploaded and
then the computer shuts completely off in the middle of
uploading. It just clicks off. WHY?
Should I run the original CD's for OS 10 x (forget the
exact decimals after the 10. . . and replace everything?
The old computer does not have Tiger or the new one
(Leopard, I think) Will I lose the photos I have on there
that are not backed up with a CD yet? OR do I just need to
take it to Portland for repair at an Apple store? Easier
said than doen since I have to take a bus to get there.
I just spent 5 days at Mt. Rainier and I wanted to use some
of my photos on my blog but I guess it is impossible on my
computers unless soemone has a miracle solution.
What would I need to run a CD of photos on a PC computer
like we have in the community room? Is that possible? The
two computers there are shared and I don't want to downlaod
anything to it. I presumed that I could put in a CD and
get the photo uploaded to blogger. Can I? Or is there an
attachment I could hook on to the PC that would allow me to
access my photos? Can I load my camera on there and
upload photos to my blog from that?
I just don't know what is compatible on a public computer
like if you were using one in the library. Thanks!
