Some claim there are no Mac virus's... that's not completely
true, but there's more likely to be a serious virus or
phishing hole on the horizon since Mac's have been completely
software based, like WinDUHows for years. I like Norton, been
using it since they first came out, not so much to protect my
Mac but to protect emailing a Microsoft macro virus attached
to Word and Excel docs to my Office using friends. But lately
some people have had problems.
ClamXav - 1.1.1e952 is free (but my Daddy always said "You get
what you pay for, and pay for what you get.")
Some run bare, but if you use Office you can pass a virus
to your WinDUHows using friends however, whether you find
them or not, they won't harm your Mac.
Not so good - slows machines other problems:
Intego VirusBarrier
Avast Antivirus Mac Edition
