You need the whole brain, both the left and right to process information. Since the left side is predominantly 'off-line" the brain cannot process the information. The information simply does not "slip in" and embed itself into the long term memory. Most websites that provide hypnopedic audio programs will simply provide very dubious "scientific" findings. If you want to learn a language or other subject at an accelerated rate, you could always look at the field of suggestopedia ( a term coined by Prof. Georgi Lozanov in Budapest ). This is a field that has some interesting findings and some compelling proof as it has been used by the UN, WHO and some large Blue Chip companies. Enjoy your sleep,
