Re: Spire VS Linda Mood-Bell for cognitive 8yr old
Posted by Teresa on 4/10/08

My daughter too has been diagnosed with Dylexia, ADHD, Short-term
Memory Impairment, along with Severe Anxiety. She too received
extensive testing. Recommendations were made for her to start one-
to-one tutoring with the Linda Mood-Bell programs (Seeing Stars and
Lips), as well as the Wilson Program. She has been attending these
classes after school, twice a week, 45 miles away since January 08.
We have already seen DRASTIC changes in her school work as well as
her self-esteem and self-confidence. We still have a long way to go.

Go with your heart...no one knows your child better than you....(I
had to learn the hard way, I let the school tell me what to do. If
I had went with my gut in the beginning, my daughter might not have
had to repeat 1st grade) If you feel these programs will benefit
your child, fight for it..... I am also trying to get these
programs implemented in our school district... Best of Luck!
