My husband and I are desperate to find a qualified School/Teacher/Tutor for our 8 yr. old daughter. She has been diagnosed by a well respected Neuropsychologist with cognitive language processing problems. A few select and very expensive private schools offer intervention. Our daughter will be repeating 1st grade for the 2nd time. We have tried to educate ourselves and have done much research on some of the more aggressive programs available. I'm convinced the Linda Mood Bell program can be the answer. Although the school we're considering uses the SPIRE reading program, and I'm concerned that it might not work, she can't afford to lose another foundational year of her education. Has anyone had better sucess with one or the other, or perhaps share any info/opinions. We are also hoping to find an educator in Sarasto County that has been trained to tutor her with this program as well. Thank you all for your concern and guidance.
