A few years ago, Dr. Mel Levine was the keynote speaker and
featured presenter at our school district's annual back to
school professional development assembly. But unbeknownst to
anyone in our school district at the time, Dr Levine
apparently has a rather checkered past, which according to
published reports, includes multiple allegations of
pedophilia, causing Dr. Levine to surrender his medical
license in North Carolina, which I guess would make him
Mister Levine now. See article below. Kind of destroys one's
faith in human nature.
