Hi there,
You can talk to just about any Kindergarten teacher and I bet
you no one of them teaches writing the same way. Most of them
uses a mixture of programs to get the best results. I've never
heard of the books that Jamie posted, but I am sure gonna look
them up! I love the writing format in the book Kidwriting. It
is amazing and the kids progress so very quickly. I was always
having issues with providing mini-lessons and this book gives
great examples of how you take a student's writing for that day
and create the mini-lesson. Check out their website!! Good
Luck!!
