Most daycares offer free or 1/2 price daycare for employees.

Payscale varies from state to state and city to city. A
daycare in my area (Florida) pays $13 hr in hope keeping
employees longer, that had a high turn over rate in the past.
But other daycares in the area pay $8 or $9.

Someone with a degree is apt to get much more.

Unless you find a really good daycare having your child at the
daycare especially an "Infant" in not neccessarily a benefit
    other than $$ wise.

I worked in daycares for over 15 years and I do not recommend
leaving you infant in a daycare center. They get sick to much
it is not a place for an infant even for the best of centers,
    JMOP!!

I was working in a daycare when my son was born, but I opted
to get him a private sitter for 6 months, Even though my
center offered free daycare, I am glad I had him with a
sitter. I was fortunate enough to find a friend who just watch
him. After 6 months she was unable to and he attended the
    center I was at.
