Above I had written a post about the home day cares being in court
because their neighborhood association was saying that they could
not operate a home day care(or any home business) in that
subdivision. The day care owners won the first time, but the
decision was appealed. The homeowner's association won the appeal
and no home day cares are allowed in the neighborhood. The one lady
and her husband have since moved out of the house and are operating
somewhere else. The other one had already closed down due to the
controversy. Two other people were waiting for the decision and had
hoped to open a home day care. So, I know states are different in
what you can do. I just know here the higher court upheld the
neighborhood's right to forbid home day cares.
What did OP decide to do?
