I'm afraid sizes are going to go back up to the levels of the 60s and 70s. In so many ways education is being forced backwards without having the ability to remove the seriously disruptive students and with less support from home. It does seem as though the people with all the power and money are on a mission to shut down schools altogether. I'm so sad to see all the gains that were made over the 40 years of my years of teaching to be swept away so swiftly.

Bridget I teach is a VERY small, rural community... We have roughly 150 kids in our K-12 school. My class this past year was only 7 kids...
