I do lessons on this for 4th & 5th graders - try searching online
for "ascii art". Instead of making them just type and tab/space
like we did in the "olden days", I created lessons using Excel so
that students don't count the typed characters, they have to find
correct cells in which to type the chosen symbol. Email me and
