I know all about the TEACH Grant because i work for a company
who partners with different state accredited universities to
be able to offer master's degrees 100% online at affordable
prices. We accepted the TEACH Grant in December and it's the
best thing that has come along as far as funding in a long
while. The TEACH Grant is specifically for teachers who are
looking to achieve a master's degree in any high needs area
in their state, who works in a title 1 school. The Grant
provides $8,000 dollars towards your degree. The stipulation
is that after graduation, there is an 8 year time frame and
of those 8 years, you must remain in a Title 1 school for at
least 4 of them. But as far as qualifications, if you're in a
Title 1 school, you are a certified teacher, and you want a
masters in a high needs area, you can pretty much get the
grant. Hope this helps.
