I have a masters degree in reading and literacy k-6 from
Walden. I found the experience fit into my schedule to a "T,"
also. I had wonderful instructors, online access, the
assignments were workable and I could fit them into what I was
already doing already. I have never regretted my time with
Walden. I got my degree in 2004. The instructors were
wonderful. If I did not understand the assignment, they were
able to explain to me what I needed to do. Once I got over that
hump, it went well. The tapes and readings that went along with
the subject were the most recent publishings. I do not
understand the previous poster's comment on choosing classes. I
signed up for a particular program knowing what classes were
next in line. The only class I did not enjoy was the research
paper. I got really bogged down at school and it came at a time
when I was very overwhelmed with testing, report cards, and
other things that take much time. Writing is not easy for me
and I ended up stressing out big time. Hope this helps persuade
you to try Walden. I enjoyed my Walden experience.
