Kelly,
A word of caution if you have never taken an online course
before: My experience with online courses is that they can
actually be more challenging and time-consuming than a
traditional on-campus course, which is exactly the opposite of
what I expected. Plus an online course requires more
self-discipline. I guess what I'm saying is that if you've
never taken an online course before, you might want to stick
with just one three-hour class the first semester, until you
get the feel of it. And, too, this will give you more time and
leeway to settle into a new year of teaching.
Good luck, and I hope you and your students have a great year!
Brett
