Re: Speed Grading/ how does one get online jobs?
Posted by rw on 1/20/08

I'm not sure what the students think. Hmmm.

To get the job I did some internet research on places that hire
online teachers (at the college level) and started sending out
resumes. A lot of those places have a somewhat permanent "job
ad" at their university website-- as universities sometimes do
when they frequently need adjuncts in certain areas. One
contacted me back about four months later.

They go by quarters, so if I can keep it I should be able to
make $4K a year if I teach one class at a time.

So far I'm actually liking it pretty well for the most part.
They offered me two classes for the next quarter but I'm
sticking with one for now since I work another full-time job.
