Wow! 60 students per class, 17 classes a week. It'll definitely be a challenge.

Fortunately, I've been told I have freedom to do pretty much whatever I want in terms of getting students to USE their English.

I'm thinking spelling bees, reading actual books, oral presentations, and other stuff. It won't be easy with so many students in one class and the classes being so short (40 minutes).
giovanni If a class has a high number of students, break pupils up into manageable-size groups after the main lesson has been taught giving them in-class assignments and monitoring each group during the period to make sure that only English is spoken.
