I would love to see a dedicated board for specials teachers
as it is a very different environment from general ed
rooms. We have our students for such short periods of time
which is much like junior high only with a range of ages
(some very young). This creates unique professional
development needs which are not readily addressed within
districts. Having a place to share would be quite helpful

I have a BFA and will complete my MEd this fall. I applied
for a K-6 art position only to find out that our new school
will not have the position. I was offered technology instead
(which I love too) and have found few resources for
technology specials teachers at the elementary level. Most
information I find is geared toward regular ed teachers
incorporating tech into the regular classroom.
