I am currently teaching in the state of Ohio. I have an
out of state teaching license (spanish). I am running
into roadblocks, because Ohio's score is higher than what
was required in West V.A. I am usually one or two points
off, every time I take the praxis. I stopped counting how
many times I've taken this test. This is insanity! Any
ideas? I can tell you that I have already paid for
rescores. Why is it that every state has different passing
scores for the same test? Who decides on Ohio's passing
score? Also, since the elimination PraxisIII, the rumor
mill in my home town is that there may be some re-vamping
with the Praxis II as well. Any truth to that? Any thing
that may help me? I certainly hope so.
