I posted the original post on this thread and don't think we
need a board solely for admins (indicated by my comment
above: "teachers would be welcome"). But on the other boards,
constant teacher-bashing is avoided and removed when it appears.
On one of the teacher boards a while back when parents were
bashing teachers there was the comment something to the effect
that "it's not beneficial to a board that is meant as a support
forum for our profession, only to have that profession
constantly bashed by people outside it." (And the posts were
removed.) But that's what happens all the time on the admin
board and the posts aren't usually removed. Rather than
discussing the things relevant to us in our jobs, we end up
constantly responding to teacher complaints, or not posting at
all.
