www.coreknowledge.org is a wonderful site. Go to the
resources or lesson plan site. You will find complete units
with materials and resources. Scholastic.com also is a great
site with lots of lesson plans.
What are the units of study in your 4th grade social studies
curriculum? You should attack the curriculum from what it is
that you want students to know and then come up with the best
lessons that will accomplish this. Don't approach it from I
have a great activity, now "what will I teach with it?"
