Post: OHIO MINIGATHERING FROM CEDAR POINT TO TRILOBITES!

HEY THERE! For all those who can't make the Orlando
Gathering or if you are already back to school for the DE
gathering OR you just want to continue your gatherings' fun-
YYYYEEEEEEHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!! Come to Toledo, Ohio!!
It will be a quickie gathering - but here is the tentative
schedule: On Friday, July 30th, SKIPPY, THE DEWSTER, and
兌ERRA will be heading over to the Toledo Zoo to talk with
the animals ( www.toledozoo.org ), on Saturday, July 31st
we will be taking the Jet Express over to Put-in-Bay
(http://www.putinbay.com , http://www.put-in-
bayonline.com ,and http://www.pibohio.com/islandv.htm ).
Cannot take your car there, and it has a winery which
offers a tour thru the largest geode in the world, and wine
tasting. It is a party island, so have a designated
driver, lovely shops, and a very tall monument you can go
up and see far away, on a clear day, all the way over to
Canada. On Sunday, August 1st, we will meet up with SASSY
and go to famous North Coast Roller Coast CEDAR POINT (

http://www.virtualmidway.com )!!! There are other things to
do such as digging for trilobite fossils at Olander Park,
Saturdays and Sundays only.

For a couple of great places to stay, there is a Comfort
Inn on Alexis Road, not far from freeways, restaurants, and
minigolf and the Wingate in Sylvania (

921577.htm ), which is a bit more fancy. Friday night, we
will try and meet as group for a late dinner at the
original Tony Packo's made famous on the M.A.S.H. show by
Klinger (http://www.tonypacko.com ). There is also a great
museum if you are into Monet, Gaugin, and those guys - LOL!

minutes north are the casinos and Greektown of Detroit (

http://www.greektowncasino.net/flashhome.htm ). If you
want to stay on until Tuesday, there is the huge flea
market in Indiana, Shipshewana. (
http://www.shipshewana.com/ ) It is an Amish area so watch
out for the horse and buggies!

know!! Yeeeehhhaaaa!! I will need definite numbers for
Tony Packos, too!!
