Post: New Memoir available on Jewish girl in the Hitler Youth

Posted by Dr. Margaret Baacke on 5/06/08

to read a portion of this facinating book on-line goto
http://books.google.com then type in baacke to search.
Tainted Blood should be the first item. The book is
partially available to read on line. The Author taught
German at Purdue, University of Illinois, Knox College, and
others before her retirement in 1989. The book describes
twins who grew up in the Hitler Youth before they were
kicked out for being too Jewish. This is an amazingly
balanced tale from both sides of WWII from the eyes of a
young girl. Although this is a reader posting the book, the
contact information above is the email of Dr. Baacke who
    wrote the book.
