Hi there German Teachers!
I am a fellow teacher who hangs out on the Sub board (was
a sub last year, first time teacher this year, yay!) and
wanted to send you a message.
I also work part time as a proofreader for a local company
that does translation services. Its all at-home,
freelance, work on the computer stuff. I've been doing
this for a year now and am getting ready to get VERY busy -
- they have a huge project coming up.
My boss is looking for 30 to 40 (yes, THAT MANY) people
who can speak/write/read German and English fluently. They
require people who are detailed, organized and have an
excellent command of the grammar.
This is for real. I make 10.00 per hour, but
it's "billable" hours, so if I open, glance and read a
file, that's considered .25 hours (.25 hour increments for
time recording)
If anyone is interested in a part time gig, which is ideal
for part-time teachers (if you are one) wanting to earn
money, but not having to spend the gas going somewhere --
then feel free to send me an email at the above address.
This is all for real, no hidden "pay me 100 dollars and
I'll take your money and disappear" things. I'm as honest
as the day is long -- you can even jump to the Substitute
Board and check out the thread "When it rains it pours, I
guess".
I just want to share this with you because we are all
talented in our own ways and, what better way to help each
other out than give them information like this?
Keeping it real,
Carolyn
