Post: Culture Notes?

I have a friend who is a Spanish teacher and gives her
students "Culture Notes" each day. Towards the end of the
grading period, she gives the students an open-notes
quiz/test about the culture information that she conveyed
to them. Does anyone have any idea of a website or source
that I could go to to find some German culture notes?
