Re: i want to become a phys. ed. teacher TOO!![]()

Please somebody I need some advice, I am a 23 year old
communications graduate with a business minor from a small
University in PA. I always wanted to teach but when I first
applied to schools I didn't have the grades to get into the
education programs. I had plans to go into the military but was
offered money to play college football so I took it. the only
program I could really get into that was interesting to me was
communications, I like to talk... I applied myself and graduated
high in my major, I participated in an NCAA sport and was a member
of a couple of clubs. Now I am a sales manager making decent money
but I really want to teach, I love kids and I think the best field
for me would be PE, considering my athletic upbringing and the
lack of "book smarts". how much back tracking do I need to do to
become a PE teacher. I would love to coach as well. I just don't
know if could become a full time student again now that I am in
the "real world". can someone please point me in the right
direction.
