Subway is in some of our WNY schools which is positive in regard
to the "Eat fresh" motto. Since most directors in school cafe`s
are stuck with the government crap [it is totally unhealthy], I
would love to see that be an idea pushed in our area.
That said; I do work with our cafe` director on the healthiness
of what is offered. Sometimes it works and sometimes no. Its so
difficult to feed the kids healthier and keep in mind that the
cafe`s are supposed to break even.
