You usually have to be a licensed health educator to teach
health education. Many classroom teachers do intergrate
ideas and activities to health, but most states require you
to be licensed. This is no different than any other course
of study. I would suggest contacting the professional
organizations such as the American Association for Health
Education http://www.aahperd.org/AAHE/ or visit American
School Health Association
http://www.ashaweb.org/i4a/pages/index.cfm?pageid=3278 Most
colleges and universities offer degrees in school health
education too.
