My first demonstration teaching in reading

Good day. I am a third year college student and on wednesday I will be having my very first demonstration teaching and I chose the short story entitled "The Monkey's Paw" for the discussion and "The Last Leaf" for the skill enhancement. The objectives are for the students to be able to get the moral lesson, the theme and the implication of the short stories. I am going to teach the lesson in applied comprehension. I have finished my lesson plan but I am still not a hundred percent sure of the result. Do you have any suggestions?
