BSOD...Blue Screen of Death.
Are you able to login at all?
If so, then after each crash there should be a dialog window
telling you that your system crashed. From that you can
usually identify the problem. If not, then you need to start
problem solving.
First thing you need to do is boot into Safe Mode. Google it.
Have you installed any new hardware? The BSOD is usally the
result of hardware conflicts. I only experience it with my
video drivers, and I would bet that that is your problem.
Regardless, I would go to the video card vendors site and
download their latest drivers.
I know the Vista just had an update and I got a BSOD, I always
do after updates, and shot straight to ATI and downloaded
their driver. The irony is that it was the Windows version of
the ATI driver that I downloaded that crashed my system
Try that and see what happens. If it does not, then we can try
the next possible solution.
