Chapter 3 of Classroom Teaching Skills, James M. Cooper, Ed.
(or looks like chapter 2 in the most recent edition).
The chapter is well footnoted and contains a plethera of
research.
I often get positive comments about the objectives posted in
my room from both administration and students. Though in
reality what I post is an agenda, not objectives.
