You have a professional obligation to get something done. I
had a similar incident recently and here is what I did:
1. Leave a paper trail...BCC yourself with all emails
regarding the matter
2. Collect your data and be prepared to back your claims
3. Familarize yourself with the Master Agreement if you have
one
4. Contact the lowest on your chain of command...department
head and/or AP
5. Contact each step 3 times and when nothing is done, then
move up the chain of command
6. Contact parents and have them start complaining to school
board memembers and/or principal
7. Go to the press if nothing happens via the school district
8. Keep fighting and 'don't give an inch'
I did win my case.
