I sub in IL and in the elementary schools in my area the
media specialists appear to be somewhat like a teachers aid
type of position with similiar pay? I have subbed a little
and enjoy the position as the media specialist, but did not
realize that they also assisted with lunch and playground
duty, before and after school duty etc. like the teachers
aids do. I am wondering if this is common and do they
still require a librarian degree for these positions?
Perhaps varies from state to state or ?
