    I use Welty's "Why I Live at the P.O." for both humor and to
    illustrate an unreliable narrator. I read from Clyde
    Edgerton's "Floatplane Notebooks." The selection about the
    younger brother falling into the old well is hilarious.
    Students get so tickled! They began to understand that is it
    all about predicting.
